I was born in Ukraine, grew up in Canada, and now I live and teach yoga in Berlin.
I started practicing Hatha yoga when I was 15 after being diagnosed with a scoliosis.
With yoga I learned how to transform my body and work with spine-related issues.
After an accident where I had a broken and a paralyzed arm, I learned how to rehabilitate with yoga after a trauma.
This experience also helped me to understand the nature of an injury and how to use yoga in order to heal.
In August 2013 I decided to become a teacher and completed a 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand with the Akasha Yoga Academy.
However, after the training I dedicated myself to the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga method, although I continue to use the elements of Hatha Yoga in my teaching up till today.
After practicing one year with Grischa Steffin, I did his Ashtanga yoga Teacher's Intensive in April 2014.
In August 2015 I started to practice Ashtanga yoga with Andrea Lutz, who ever since became my main teacher and source of inspiration.
In August 2017 I did a 10-day Ashtanga Yoga Intensive Teacher Training with Andrea.
All-together I have been doing Ashtanga regularly for 7 years and practice Advanced A series.
