Yoga is my way of life

I've been practicing yoga for 15 years and teaching for the past 6

I was born in Ukraine, grew up in Canada, and now I live and teach yoga in Berlin.

I started practicing Hatha yoga when I was 15 after being diagnosed with a scoliosis.

With yoga, I learned how to heal and transform the body, specifically dealing with spine-related problems.

After an accident where I had a broken and a paralyzed arm, I learned how to rehabilitate with yoga after an injury.

This experience also helped me to understand the nature of a trauma and how to use yoga as to heal it.

In August 2013 I completed a 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand with the Akasha Yoga Academy.

After the training, I started practicing daily in the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga method, although I continued to use the elements of Hatha Yoga in my teachings.

After practicing one year with Grischa Steffin, a student of Richard Freeman, I did his Ashtanga yoga Teacher's Intensive in April 2014.

In August 2015, I started to practice Ashtanga with Andrea Lutz, a long-term senior student of Nancy Gilgoff.

In August 2017 I did a 10-day Ashtanga Yoga Intensive Teacher Training with Andrea.

I have also done workshops with other great Ashtanga yoga teachers such as Manju JoisMark and Joan Darby, Danny Paradise, Taylor Hunt, Laruga Glaser, and Ty Landrum.

All-together I have been doing Ashtanga regularly for 7 years and practice Advanced A series.

Since the end of 2017, most of my work is dedicated to my project, Berlin Yoga Conference, but I do teach occasional specialty events, workshops at yoga festivals, and private classes.

Private Yoga Classes


I offer private yoga classes in English or German, individualized in accordance with your specific needs, goals, and health issues. My classes deliver to you that which you seek, in a way that makes the most sense to you. Regular price: 150 Euro/Hour.

Group Yoga Classes


My yoga classes emphasize both the physical and the mental aspect behind yoga with an aim to strengthen and purify the body and the mind. I can lead group classes and workshops in English and German, having experience in various yoga and fitness studios.
