I was born in Ukraine, grew up in Canada, and now I live in Germany.
I started practicing Hatha yoga when I was 15 after being diagnosed with a scoliosis.
With yoga I learned how to heal my body and work around spine-related issues.
After an accident where I had a broken and a paralyzed arm, I learned how to rehabilitate with yoga after a trauma.
This experience also helped me to understand the nature of an injury and how to use yoga in order to work with it.
In August 2013 I decided to become a teacher and completed a 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand with the Akasha Yoga Academy.
However, after the training I dedicated myself to the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga method, having practiced it previously for two years.
In April 2014 I did Ashtanga yoga Teacher's Intensive with Grischa Steffin.
That year I got pregnant and in the summer of 2015 I gave birth to my son Liam.
Throughout the conception, pregnancy, and birth, yoga has been an integral part of my life and helped me in the process.
By the end of the summer 2015 I started to practice Ashtanga yoga with Andrea Lutz at her studio.
Ever since I'm very happy to be a part of the yoga community there.
